![]() ![]() ![]() I'm still going to keep playing to see if more talent point makes the rogue better since I do prefer him to the warrior. The rogue just doesn't deal well with medium and large groups of enemies (and a boss as the same time) yet since I don't have enough points to make good use of his AOE abilities. I've put about 10 hours into DH:A split 40:60 between a warrior and a rogue (specced for ranged combat), and really struggled with the rogue on bosses. The menus, general accessibility, and angle/FOV is better in DH:A but that's about it. My copy of Sacred 2 arrived today and after playing for about four hours as a Dryad on silver, and I already like it more than DH:A as far as gameplay is concerned. In DH:A related news the bosses can be pretty brutal, which is a good thing. Maybe a NG+ with a higher difficulty level wouldn't have us 2-shotting bosses. The default difficulty (Bronze I think?) is for people who may be missing several limbs.Ī friend and I have been co-oping it on Silver difficulty and it is still too easy, trying to complete the campaign for the first run but the swamp is murdering my ps3 and sucking all fun out of it. Sacred 2 was just too easy to provide any entertainment. Much better than Deathspank.ĭungeon Hunter Alliance plays really well with Co-op and is a blast.ĭefinitely will have to give Dungeon Hunter a spin, haven't had a decent console co-op hack'n'slash since BG: DA 2. Someone from another forum said it took him 20 to 30 hours to clock. Main characters face looks retarded (only noticeable in main menu)ĭespite those negatives I say the game is easily worth picking up. Monsters become abit samey after awhile So slight that its barely noticeable (this point pissed me off the most) Although the game is slightly randomized, it is exactly that. ![]() No 'Unique' 'Magical' Monsters (besides Bosses) No stash/bank (but you can transfer items to character mules) Gameloft hopes to fill the void with Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, a port of the PS3 downloadable game, which in turn was a quasi-remake of an iPhone game. There are afew things missing from what you would expect to find in the Diablo/Torchlight/Titan Quest games * Difficulty changes with more people you have * Has New Game Plus after you clock it (with harder difficulties) * Can re-spec skills and stats in Town for a fee * User interface and controls are perfect for the PS3 * Loot system (with White, Green, Teal, Purple and Gold item rarities) * You get Elemental Fairy powers as you progress (Water Fairy creates Ice and Slows, Earth damages and stuns, Wind pushes back etc) * Skill Tree has 21 skills for each class (passives and actives) * Stats are divided between Strength, Endurance, Dexterity and Energy * Can Co-op with a mate locally whilst playing online with randoms * You have 3 classes (Warrior, Rogue, Mage) I was a little nervous about grabbing this since it's from Gameloft, but i love these Diablo hack-n-slash loot games so i thought what the heck. I bought this last week when it hit the Australian Playstation Store. ![]()
